What Is PLUS Account?
PLUS Account is a term deposit account that provides additional interest on the term account if regular spending is made from the TRY deposit account or a specific balance amount is maintained in the TRY deposit account.

How Does It Work PLUS Account?
The PLUS Account offers you additional interest earnings when you either make transactions of a certain amount (PLUS Transaction Commitment) or maintain a certain balance (PLUS Demand Deposit Commitment) in your TRY demand deposit account.


Throughout the commitment period, both your transactions and end-of-day balances are monitored. When the conditions are met, the additional interest rate is automatically added to your account at maturity.


If you fulfill both the PLUS Transaction and PLUS Demand Deposit commitments, you can benefit from the highest additional interest rate.

PLUS Transaction Commitment
You can earn additional interest by performing the following transactions from your TRY demand deposit account.

  • Payments made with VakıfBank Bankomat Card (debit card) or via QR code
  • All Bill Payments from the account (including Automatic Payments)
  • Tax / Duty / Fine Payments
  • Mobile Top-Ups / GSM Package Reloads
  • HGS / OGS Balance Top-Ups and Fees
  • Education and Exam Payments
  • Donation Payments
  • SSI Payments
  • Municipality Collections
  • Transport Card Top-Ups made through partner institutions
  • Incoming EFT/FAST (Outgoing EFT/FAST amounts will be deducted from incoming amounts.)
  • Other payments made to our Banks contracted institutions
  • Once you reach the defined transaction amount, additional interest will be credited to your account at maturity.
     

PLUS Permanent Commitment
If you keep the required balance in your Current TRY account during the commitment period, you will earn additional interest.

Commitment Period
The PLUS Account starts on the account opening or renewal date.
Transactions made up to two days before the maturity date are taken into account
