Gold Card Features

  • Advance Point Feature in flight ticket purchases, hotel/tour reservations and car rentals
  • With your VakıfBank Gold credit card; you can earn Worldpoints from your shopping transactions at World member workplaces, use the earned Worldpoints in your shopping transactions, or use those points with a 1.25x higher value in your flight ticket, hotel/tour reservation and car rental transactions.
  • You can take advantage of the multiple point feature of your card via our web site www.milplus.com.tr and MilPlus Travel Line, and meet your travel needs more profitably.
  • If your Worldpoints are not sufficient for making the relevant transaction, you can use Advance Point with 12-month or 6-month payment options. Depending on the preferred Advance Point duration type, if the debt cannot be paid off or credit card is put on hold for any reason, your remaining Advance Point balance is debited to your credit card by multiplying the amount with the coefficient used in flight ticket purchases, hotel&tour reservations and car rental transactions.
  • For a new Advance Point request, you will need to pay 100% of your old Advance Point balance. Supplementary card holders cannot benefit from the Advance Point feature. The points earned with the supplementary card can be used to pay off the Advance Point debt of the main card holder.
  • During your Advance Point request, your card should be active. For taking advantage of the Advance Point feature, you need to visit our web site www.milplus.com.tr or call our Customer Contact Center 0850 222 0 724, say “Travel Services” to use the MilPlus Travel Services line. VakıfBank is authorized to specify and modify the Worldpoint and Advance Point terms of use and point values.
  • MilPlus Travel Services line operates between 09.00-00.00 on weekdays/weekends for flight ticket, hotel&tour reservation transactions and car rental service.
  • MilPlus Travel Services line do not operate on public holidays.

 General Rules

  • In case the ticket purchased by using the Worldpoints in your Gold card is not used, the used Worldpoints are not refunded.
  • In case the card holder purchases the ticket by using the Worldpoints in her/his Gold card with more value, and cancels that ticket, the used Worldpoints are refunded. However, the transaction fees are collected from the customer.
  • The card holders can purchase tickets, and make hotel and tour reservations for themselves, their spouses, first-degree relatives (mother, father, child, sibling). (In case of surname mismatch, the persons are requested to submit their IDs.) For original 3rd persons being able to make travel expenses using their Worldpoints, they must have purchased the same flight and/or accommodation service for themselves, too.
  • Flight ticket cost includes the airport taxes.
  • Regarding the modification requests after issuance of flight tickets, the “ticket modification penalty” of each airlines company applies, and the relevant payments, such as ticket price difference and service fee etc., will be covered by the card holder.
  • The availability to meet ticket demands depends on the availability of seats, and all the flight tickets issued are based on International Air Transport Association (IATA) rules.
  • The card holder is deemed to have accepted and undertaken the conditions and rules specified by the carrier company on the passenger ticket.
  • The tickets issued are sent to card holder’s email address in the electronic environment.
  • The Bank has no responsibility for any issues and accidents that might occur during the journey.
  • A service fee of TRY 150 in domestic flight tickets, and TRY 800 in international flight tickets is charged per one way trip, whether it is a long/short-distance flight, or an economy/business class ticket. The service fee is included in the prices of the tickets purchased. (For example; a total service fee of TRY 150 per person, per one way trip; and TRY 300 per person, per round trip is charged for your ticket purchases. The same applies also for international flight ticket purchases).
  • When the Bank determines use of Platinum Plus Metal cards and received services for commercial purposes, it has the right to restrict valuable use of the Worldpoints, and impose penalties.
  • There might be differences between the ticket prices on the airlines companies’ websites, and the ticket prices of those purchased via milplus.com.tr and MilPlus Travel Line. The ticket purchase transactions via www.milplus.com.tr and MilPlus Travel Line are performed using the prices of the tickets sold via the agencies or call centers of airlines companies. MilPlus Travel Service is not obliged to impose the ticket prices provided on airlines companies’ websites or other websites.

The Privilege of Abroad Shopping

  • You can benefit from a 5% discount on each purchase of $100 or more at once abroad.
  • You can only participate in the campaign via ‘Cepte Kazan’ in VakıfBank Mobile, clicking on ‘Participate Now’ button.
  • The participants will earn prizes from the transactions made within the month of participation.
  • Cash withdrawal, mail order, phone and internet shopping transactions, and the transactions in casinos and on betting sites will not be included in the campaign.
  • Campaign period shopping amount will include the total amount of expenses with all VakıfBank Gold credit cards (including the supplementary cards) linked to customer’s account number.
  • Only the shopping transactions abroad will be included in the campaign.
  • The maximum amount of gift discount that can be earned monthly within the scope of campaign is limited to TRY 750. The maximum discount that will be reflected annually is TRY 3,000.
  • The discounts will be reflected on 20th of each month. In case 20th of a certain month is on the weekend, the discounts will be reflected on the next business day.
  • The discounts earned will be calculated based on the Central Bank Selling Rate of Exchange, the date at which the expense was received by our Bank.
  • The shopping transactions made in TRNC shall be considered as domestic transactions.
  • The Bank has the right to end the campaign and make changes on the campaign terms. 

Mobile Contactless Payment

You can define your credit card on your mobile phone with VakıfBank Mobile Contactless Payment and complete your purchases quickly, securely and practically by simply bringing your phone closer to the POS device without entering your card PIN for your purchases of TRY 1.500 or less, and by entering your card PIN on the POS device for your transactions over TRY 1.500!

To define Mobile Contactless Payment on your phone;

  • Mobile Contactless Payment works on Android and NFC (Near Field Communication) smart phones with version 5.0 and above. Therefore, activate the NFC feature in the settings tab of your Android phone.
  • From VakıfBank Mobile Banking app, access the “Credit Cards” menu, and click on “Mobile Contactless Payment Transactions”. (Mobile Contactless Payment Transactions can be viewed in the updated version. Make sure that your Mobile Banking app is up-to-date.)
  • The screen that opens lists your credit cards (personal/private/non-virtual cards) that can be defined for Mobile Contactless Payment Transactions. Select the credit card you want to be identified. Turn on/activate the Mobile Contactless Payment Definition.
  • If your card to be defined is your first card, the "Priority Card" tab is automatically selected. Priority card indicates that the payment will be charged to this card. You can identify more than one of your cards to Mobile Contactless Payment Transaction, select it as the priority card at any time and ensure that the transaction is executed from this card.
  • When you click the Confirm tab, your card will be successfully identified to Mobile Contactless Payment.

To make a payment;

  • Turn on the NFC feature of your device to make Mobile Contactless Payments. If you also have another bank's contactless payment application installed on your phone, you should select ‘VakıfBank’ as the default payment application in the phone settings menu.
  • To make a payment for your transactions with an amount of TRY 1,500 and below, you just need to unlock your phone’s key lock and scan it with the contactless POS machine. And for your transactions with an amount above TRY 1,500, you also need to enter your credit card password to the POS device.  You will receive a notification on your phone at the end of the process that your transaction was successful.

To check your transactions;
By opening the Mobile Banking application, you can view your Mobile Contactless Transactions specific to the card with which you have made a transaction or your Mobile Contactless Transactions on all your cards defined for Mobile Contactless Payment from the ‘In-Period Transactions and Transactions Waiting in Provision’ menus under the ‘Mobile Contactless Payment Transactions’ menu.

Linking an Account to a Credit Card
You can now make your banking transactions with your VakıfBank Worldcard as well.
By linking your TRY and foreign currency drawing accounts to your VakıfBank Worldcard, you can make all your banking transactions using a single card.
To link your drawing accounts to your credit card;

  • You can visit our nearest branch,
  • You can use the internet banking service,
  • Who can use the VakıfBank Mobile service,
  • Call the VakıfBank Customer Contact Center 0850 222 0 724.

By linking your account to your credit card

  • You can make payments to your credit card from your drawing account.
  • Withdraw money from, and deposit money in your account.
  • Easily make many banking transactions such as bank transfer and EFT.
